This is us at one of the many windmill farms in Kansas.
We drove to visit a couple families in Montezuma Kansas and stopped at this windmill farm. These things are ginormous when you stand right next to them! It's so fascinating to us, all the flatness and crops, and even the lack of crops...the government pays the farmers to not farm some of their land for a period of time. Hey, I want in on that deal! I can totally not farm anything for as long as they'd like to pay me for not doing so!
...and you thought YOUR home teaching families were hard to find!
